| About two years
ago we bought $10,000 in new televisions from "Best Buy". We faithfully made
every payment on time. In early April we mailed them our payment which was
due on April 13th. For some reason, unknown to us, they did not receive that
payment. On 4/20/2009 this heartless bunch of corporate predators converted
our account to 20.99% interest and back billed us for over $4,718 in
deferred finance charges. All without once contacting us to tell us that
they had not received our payment.
In this current economy
families struggle all over America to pay their bills. I find it extremely
unethical that a major retailer would use such harsh tactics on any American
family. Corporate greed has always been a blight on our country. But in
recent years companies like "Best Buy" have sunk to a new low in predatory
behavior.
I strongly recommend
AGAINST doing business with "Best Buy" since reason tells you if they will
stoop to such low tactics in finance they have no honor. I guarantee you
this is only the tip of the iceberg, which means you have to wonder what
dishonorable crap they are hiding in their stores.
Consumer Alert: Avoid
doing business with these predators. They have no honor. They are modern day
Carpetbaggers! They prey on Americans and profit from these trying financial
times. Do you want to support this behavior? I doubt it.
